Tom Cruise hit the stage at 2026 CinemaCon on Tuesday (April 14) at The Dolby Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The 63-year-old actor was joined by director Alejandro González Iñárritu during the Warner Bros presentation to present the first trailer for their upcoming movie Digger.
In the first look at the new film, Tom is unrecognizable with gray hair and wrinkles, as he plays an oil tycoon with a thick Southern accent and a love for his pet cat.

“It took 40 years for me to be able to put on the boots of Digger Rockwell,” Tom said on stage before the trailer, per Variety.
“We know that he’s fearless — the stunts, the planes, the jumps,” Alejandro added of Tom. “But I have to say, embodying this character is another kind of fearless.” He went on to praise Cruise’s ‘high-wire act.’”
The trailer has not been released to public yet, but stay tuned for when it is!
Also starring in the upcoming movie are John Goodman, Sandra Huller, Jesse Plemons, Riz Ahmed, Michael Stuhlbarg, Sophie Wilde and Emma D’Arcy.
Digger is slated for a theatrical release on October 2nd.
Backstage at CinemaCon, Tom was also seen chatting with Milly Alcock and Patton Oswalt, as well as reuniting with his Mission Impossible director J.J. Abrams.
