Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s new movie musical Octet has a stellar cast list!

Written by Tony nominee Dave Malloy, Octet premiered Off-Broadway back in 2019.

“The a capella musical explores the topic of internet addiction as told through an eight-person support group meeting in a church basement,” according to THR.

On Instagram, Lin-Manuel posted the cast list for the leading roles, marking some Hamilton reunions.

Jonathan and Phillipa both worked with Lin-Manuel on the Broadway musical Hamilton.

Lin-Manuel last directed the 2021 musical movie tick, tick… BOOM! starring Andrew Garfield. The movie marked Lin-Manuel‘s feature directorial debut.
