Chloe Fineman is facing backlash over a story she told in a Vanity Fair video, which the outlet later edited to remove some details from the story.
Vanity Fair made a video titled “‘SNL’ Cast Test How Well They Know Each Other” with cast members Mikey Day, Sarah Sherman, Ashley Padilla, Jane Wickline and James Austin Johnson also included.
Chloe told a story about getting fired from her camp counselor job and her co-stars seemed shocked by the story.

She said, “I was fired as a camp counselor. I pantsed a boy. He would lift my shirt all the time. It was a different time. He would be like, ‘Hey, could I have a hug?’ And then I’d go to hug him and he’d lift my shirt, like a dick. And then I was like, ‘I’m going to get back at you.’ And so we were on a hike and I was like, ‘Hey, Ollie, go look over there. It’s a hawk.’ He looked and then I yanked his pants down, and then I was fired.”
Variety notes that in the original video that was published, Chloe noted that she was 16 at the time and the boy was 6.
“He wasn’t wearing underpants, and then a giant school bus drove by,” Chloe said in the original version, adding that the boys’ “little ding-a-ling was out.” Those details have since been removed.
Another moment removed was Ashley telling her, “Oh, honey, I think you’re on a list somewhere.”
The comment section on the YouTube video features a lot of backlash to Chloe‘s story. She has not yet commented on the response.
A new person just joined SNL‘s esteemed “Five Timers Club.”
