Ryan Seacrest is addressing his love life.

The 51-year-old American Idol host and radio personality recently spoke out amid questions about whether he’s truly on the popular dating app, Tinder, thanks to something he said recently on TV.

“People keep asking if I’m on Tinder,” he explained during On Air With Ryan Seacrest radio show on Monday (March 30).

“Well, I’m not. I think I made a joke about Tinder on Wheel of Fortune,” he clarified.

Earlier in the month, per E!, Ryan reacted to the theme of the night, “Love Is in the Air,” by joking: “And I’ll be on Tinder tonight so I can find it.”

“Love will be in the air next time,” Vanna White replied, laughing. “I promise.”

As a result, the Internet went wild with speculation that he was being serious and took him at his word, to which he firmly dismissed the speculation.

“OK, fine, got it. Anyway, I said it jokingly,” he said.
