Last week, it was announced that the 83-year-old longtime co-host had actually injured herself.

On one of the shows last week, it was announced that she apparently dislocated her shoulder!

When will Joy Behar be back on The View?

Sunny Hostin made the announcement last week, sharing with viewers, “So Whoopi is still out filming a movie, and unfortunately, our dear friend Joy dislocated her shoulder. Yeah, so she’s recovering and will be back soon.”

While taking over as moderator, Sunny added, “So the two OGs are out today. So apparently, the job went to the next oldest, or let’s say seasoned, cohost. I like seasoned better.”

Whoopi has since returned, and on today’s show, she explained, “Joy is still out, and Ana [Navarro] is in with us today.”
