Gabby Windey Says She Broke Her Back While Using a Vibration Plate, Shares Hospital Photos | Just Jared

Gabby Windey recently broke her back.

The 35-year-old reality star shared in an Instagram post uploaded on Friday (October 2) that she had to go to the hospital after falling off of a vibrating workout plate and breaking her back.

“I’ve broken my back due to a speedy vibration. And I’ve barely lived to tell the story,” she captioned a photo that showed her standing in a mirror wearing a hospital gown.

“Broke back, no mountain,” she wrote on the first photo, which is also the title of her Substack post about the scary medical incident. Additional pics included her taking a selfie in her hospital gown and the X-ray.

“Most mornings, I vibrate. On a plate,” Gabby wrote on in the post. “The vibration plate is designed to rid stagnant lymph fluid, by shaking up the turgid and sallow with probable microplastics, from my rotting carcass. And then one excretes the toxins by way of pissing it out.”

The morning she broke her back, The Bachelorette alum said she had set the device to level 30 and at one point her “vertebrae turned crooked and rub against each other.”

She continued,  “A small piece breaks off from friction. It catches air. Then it lands softly, too softly, so softly the landing’s in question. And that’s what did it. The straw and the camel. I assume the camel couldn’t feel the last straw and I couldn’t feel the crooked or the crack.”

“It was too fast vibrations I guess, and too many vibrations maybe, and too much pressure to shake. And it broke. Broke right off, like your ex-boyfriend’s bumper,” Gabby wrote.

Gabby is married to comedian Robby Hoffman who, earlier this year, admitted to being a “sore loser” after her Hacks co-star won over her and even trying to leave the ceremony.
