Raye & Teddy Swims Arrive for MTV VMAs 2026 Ahead of George Michael Tribute Performance | Just Jared

Raye and Teddy Swims arrive separately for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (September 27) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

The 28-year-old British singer and the 34-year-old American singer are both set to hit the stage together during the awards show, as part of a tribute to the late George Michael. Sombr is also performing during the tribute.

All about Raye’s fashion at the VMAs

Raye was joined the carpet by Mike Sabath on the carpet, where she wore a Georges Hobeika FW27 Couture dress with Angara jewelry.

They are nominated for Song of the Year for “Where is My Husband!” which they co-wrote and produced together. She is also up for Best Visual Effects for “Click Clack Symphony” with Hans Zimmer. Mike also co-wrote and co-produced that song!

If Raye wins Song of the Year, she could make VMAs history as the first British female solo artist to ever win that category.
