We’re getting our first look inside the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards!
The awards show takes place on Sunday night (September 27) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, and Variety has revealed a first look at where some of the biggest stars are expected to sit during the ceremony.
Madonna appears to have scored a prime spot in the front row!
See the First Look at the 2026 MTV VMAs Seating Chart
In a video shared from inside the venue on Thursday (September 24), Madonna‘s seating card can be seen on the front row.
The seating chart also reveals reserved spots for Teddy Swims, Lucky Daye, Stella Lefty, Shaboozey, Charli xcx, Alex Warren, Lisa, Troye Sivan, Jeff Probst, GENER8ION, Sienna Spiro, Sombr, Teyana Taylor, Tyla, Bella Kay and Bebe Rexha, among others.
RAYE, Belmont Cameli, Ciara Miller, Gunna, Magnus Ferrell, Hunter/X‘s Rei Ami, Rachel Dratch, Ella Bright, Mariah the Scientist and Fuerza Regida also appear in the preview.
The seating assignments could still change before the live show.
Madonna Is Performing at the 2026 MTV VMAs
Madonna is set for a big night at this year’s show as she returns to the VMAs stage for her first performance at the ceremony in 23 years.
She is also the most-nominated artist of the night with 13 nominations. Madonna is competing for awards including Video of the Year, Artist of the Year and Best Long Form Video.
The Queen of Pop will open Sunday’s ceremony, which is being hosted by Snoop Dogg.
The seating-chart reveal comes on the same day Madonna and Charli xcx are releasing their new collaboration, “Danceteria Afterhours.”
The 2026 MTV VMAs air live on Sunday, September 27 at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT on CBS and MTV and stream on Paramount+.
