Presley Gerber‘s dad Rande Gerber publicly praised him on social media a few months ago, and the comment is receiving newfound attention today.
Back in March 2026, Presley posted about receiving treatment for substance use. He received an ibogaine flood dose while in Cancun, Mexico. If you did not see the devastating news, he passed away while in a rehab facility on September 20.
Rande Gerber praised his son for “facing what’s hard”
In the comments of the post, which Presley shared before his ibogaine dosage, Rande left him a message.
He wrote, “I’m so proud of you and your courage. Facing what’s hard takes real strength and watching you find your way back to yourself is everything. I love you so much.”
Presley saw his dad’s comment and responded directly, writing, “thank you pops learned it from you.”
Both his mom, Cindy Crawford, and sister, Kaia Gerber, also commented on his post.
Cindy wrote, “You are a warrior! Walked thru the fire to find yourself! So proud!”
Kaia commented, “that’s my brother I am so damn proud.”
If you did not see, Presley revealed the prescription drugs he’d been taking less than a year before his passing.
