News broke on Sunday (September 20) that Presley Gerber, the son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, has tragically died at the age of 27.
Just last month, his younger sister, actress and model Kaia Gerber, spoke out about his decade-long battle with addiction. It is said that Presley died while at a rehab facility.
Last year, Presley opened up about mental health and medications he had been taking in a now-deleted post.

“I’ve had a lot of loss in many different forms recently. That is not an excuse, but it’s the reason—or part of—why I am where I’m at now,” he shared in the post, which has since been deleted.
He apparently revealed he had been taking Valium, which calms the central nervous system, and Buprenorphine, used to treat pain and opioid use disorders, as well as Xanax “when the panic attacks are really, really bad.”
“Every psychiatrist I’ve had—and I’ve had, like, 15—they’re all like, ‘Here’s 20 medications. Take this if you feel like this, take this as needed.’ And I’m like, ‘No, don’t give me that much leeway. I need some direction,’” he continued at the time.
Presley Gerber also mentioned that he had mostly given up alcohol at the time
He did mention that he mostly no longer drank alcohol as it did not serve him. He noted that he was surrounding himself with “good influences” as well.
“I’ve grown up in Hollywood, and there’s a lot of people around that I love to death, but right now, I try not to be around them,” he admitted.
He signed off with a supportive message for others who may have faced similar struggles
“I’m hoping this reaches people in many ways so you feel like you’re not alone, because that is how I feel most of the time. I have a feeling if I say all of this, a lot of people will at least know that there’s someone else going through it,” Presley shared.
