The former friends reunited during Atlanta Black Pride Weekend’s Influencer Gala, which honored LGBTQIA+ figures across arts, entertainment, and business, and their unexpected interaction has fans wondering whether their long-running feud has officially ended.
Over the weekend, Freddy O reported that Tamar came out to support Carlos King, who was being honored that night, and she also took the stage to perform “Love and War” and “All the Way Home” in celebration of the album’s anniversary. But the real headline of the night came when she and Funky Dineva crossed paths for the first time since their fallout. According to the post, Dineva apologized to Tamar, and the two shared a genuine moment together facilitated by Brat and Judy.

The tension between Tamar and Funky Dineva stretches back to a chaotic stretch last year involving Tamar’s medical emergency, her Heartbreak Retrograde EP, and swirling rumors about her relationship with Mendeecees Harris. He continued,
“Then we get to her house, and they go upstairs together. I am sitting there like, what the hell is going on? This man is married to Yandy. Like, married married.”
He also alleged that Mendeecees and his friend were with Tamar the night of her medical emergency that left her in a pool of blood with teeth missing.
Tamar firmly denied the affair allegations in an official statement, calling them “hurtful and completely untrue” and confirming that her legal team was taking action regarding the claims.
