Emma Mackey is making some rare comments about her relationship with boyfriend Martin Aleman.
For those who don’t know, Martin is a French film director and photographer. The couple has been together for five years and Emma opened up about the “cliché” way they met while chatting with Porter.
“[We met] in the actual sea. Honestly, it’s ridiculous. I can’t even talk about it because it’s such a cliché. A Frenchman in the ocean. I was swimming, and so was he. Three days later, there was an end-of-summer party in this village, and he was like, well, if I’m meant to see her again, she’ll be there. And I was,” she told the magazine.
Emma Mackey’s thoughts on the modern dating scene
Emma was also asked about her thoughts on the dating world in the modern era.
“I’m not very good at playing games. I was never into dating. I just hardcore fall in love. I’m like, ‘This is my person’, and that’s it,” she said.
Emma is best known for her roles in the Netflix series Sex Education and movies like Emily, Barbie, and Ella McCay. She will soon appear in Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew and the JJ Abrams film The Great Beyond.
