Sienna Spiro Cancels Newport Jazz Fest Performance Due to Infection After Wowing Lollapalooza Crowd

Sienna Spiro is one of the music world’s hottest rising stars and she just wowed the crowd at Lollapalooza. Sadly, she had to cancel her other festival appearance this weekend.
The 20-year-old British singer rose to fame with her hit single “Die on This Hill” and currently is climbing the charts with her latest song “Great Expectation.” Her debut album, The Visitor, was released this summer.
Sienna had thousands of fans show up for her performance at Chicago’s Lollapalooza on Saturday (August 2). She wrote on Instagram after the set, “Blown away Lollapalooza. Thank you.”
Sienna Spiro cancels performance at Newport Jazz Festival

On Sunday (August 3), Sienna was scheduled to perform at the Newport Jazz Festival in Rhode Island, but she had to cancel due to an infection.
She wrote on her Instagram Stories, “Newport, I’m so sorry to have to do this, but under doctor’s orders I won’t be performing at Newport Jazz Festival today. I’ve completely lost my voice due to an infection, and unfortunately I’m not able to put on the show you all deserve.”
She added, “I’m especially sorry to anyone who travelled, I was looking forward to this for so long and it breaks my heart that I can’t. Thank you so much for your understanding, and I promise I’ll make it up to you as soon as I can.”
Sienna is going on a headlining tour later this year and tickets sold out instantly.
