AMC's 'Interview With the Vampire' to Get Season 4 with Another Rebranding & New Showrunner | Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

The AMC series Interview With the Vampire is returning for a fourth season and it will once again get a rebranding.

Jacob Anderson and the cast of the show stepped out to announce the news during a panel at 2026 San Diego Comic-Con on Friday morning (July 24) in San Diego, Calif.

Jacob was there with co-stars Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian and Sheila Atim, plus executive producers Mark Johnson and Hannah Moscovitch, to promote the season finale of season three.

Season four will get a rebranding

The first two seasons both focused on Anne Rice‘s book Interview With the Vampire and season three was rebranded as The Vampire Lestat as it focused on that novel.

Season four will focus on the novel Queen of the Damned and will get that title for the new season.

Sheila joined the show in season three as Akasha, the Queen of the Damned.

A new showrunner has been announced

Hannah Moscovitch will be the showrunner for season four, taking over for Rolin Jones, who will remain as an executive producer.

AMC exec Dan McDermott said in a statement, “In The Vampire Lestat, Mark, Rolin, Hannah and this extraordinary cast delivered an unforgettable season filled with propulsive storytelling that captivated the passionate and engaged fans of this franchise. We can’t wait to continue the journey with Queen of the Damned, one of the most iconic stories in Anne Rice’s mythology, and watch our established and beloved characters confront Akasha with their world, and ours, very much hanging in the balance.”
