One of the hottest invitations during Cannes Lions is back!
The Afties returned to Cannes for its third annual celebration on Wednesday (June 24), bringing together more than 400 leaders across sports, entertainment, media, business, and culture for a star-studded late-night event.
Hosted by sports journalist Taylor Rooks, this year’s celebration took over Bisou Bisou at Le Majestic Cannes, where guests danced into the early morning hours while celebrating the intersection of creativity, influence, and community.
Among the celebrities in attendance were Ciara and husband Russell Wilson, Fat Joe, Alex Rodriguez, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Janelle Monáe, Miguel, Jayson Tatum, Sue Bird, Andra Day, Draymond Green, Alexis Ohanian, Jaylen Brown, Bozoma Saint John, John Summit, Diana Taurasi, Ashlyn Harris, Rich Kleiman, Hilary Knight, Al Harrington, Kayla Nicole, Nigel Sylvester, Gary Harris, Ryan Rollins, and many more.
The event was created by TJ Adeshola in partnership with Legacy EM and has quickly become one of the defining events of Cannes Lions, bringing together creators, athletes, executives, entrepreneurs, and artists under one roof.
“Bringing The Afties back to Cannes for a third year is incredibly meaningful,” TJ said in a statement. “What started as a simple idea to bring good people together has become one of the defining highlights of the week. Seeing leaders, creators, athletes, and executives from across sports, entertainment, media, and business connect in one room is a reminder that community still matters.”
Presented by Amazon Music alongside partners Kalshi, Sprite, Patrón, and Think-True, the evening featured music from Jae Murphy, DJ Millie, DJ Tay James, Charles Beloved, Chris Lyons, and Nitrane, while guests enjoyed specialty Patrón cocktails and activations throughout the venue.
