Billy Crudup Films 'The Morning Show' Season 5 in NYC with New Cast Member Sean Hayes - Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Billy Crudup is hard at work at the new season of The Morning Show!
The 57-year-old Emmy-winning actor filmed scenes for season five of the Apple TV series with new cast member Sean Hayes in Central Park on Wednesday afternoon (June 24) in New York City.

In between scenes, Billy and Sean, 55, were seen laughing and joking around. For the scene, Billy was seen holding a gold urn.
Sean‘s casting in season five of The Morning Show was announced back in March. He will be playing the character of Wyatt, the quick-witted older brother and manager of Brodie Hartman (Boyd Holbrook), according to Deadline.
This marks Sean‘s biggest drama series commitment, whose only previous credit in the genre was a three-episode arc on NBC’s musical drama Smash back in 2013.

As of right now, Apple TV hasn’t announced the premiere date for The Morning Show season five. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but fans should expect another time jump.
Season four started in “spring 2024, almost two years after the events of season three. With the UBA-NBN merger complete, the newsroom must grapple with newfound responsibility, hidden motives and the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America. In a world rife with deepfakes, conspiracy theories and corporate cover-ups — who can you trust? And how can you know what’s actually real?”

Several other new notable cast members have joined for season five, including Renee Rapp, Jesse Williams, and Jeff Daniels.
After that thrilling season four finale aired in November 2025, the showrunner addressed the fate of these six characters.
Back in April, Jennifer Aniston was spotted filming a red carpet scene in L.A.
