Will Arnett has no interest in sharing the intimate details of his marriage to Amy Poehler and he shut down an invasive question from his friend Jason Bateman during the latest episode of their SmartLess podcast.

The actors have been hosting the SmartLess podcast with fellow friend Sean Hayes for the past few years and they had a discussion about “potty talk” on the June 22 episode.

“Sean and I love our power burps….I’ve definitely farted in front of you, Sean,” Jason said, with the co-host confirming that the actor has also farted “on” him.

Jason then added, “But Willie doesn’t. He doesn’t. So then, Will…Did you ever poo in front of Amy?”

Will Arnett refused to answer Jason Bateman’s question

Will replied, “Are you looking for clicks? Are you trying to get something that we can click around?”

Jason wouldn’t let up at first. He said, “Wait, but hang on. You were married to her, had two kids. You guys never went to the bathroom in front of each other?”

“I’m sorry. The question is, did I poo in front of Amy? And you’re saying that I don’t have manners. What are you talking about? It’s not a good question. I refuse to answer it,” Will replied.

Will and Amy started dating in 2000, got married a few years later, and then separated in 2012. They are co-parents to sons Archie and Abel, born in 2008 and 2010, respectively.

Jason sparked backlash earlier this year for a question he asked Charli XCX on the podcast.
