The hit show introduced us to more than Uncle Clifford’s rules and “the valley where the girls get naked.” It turned a talented cast into Hollywood’s hottest new stars and we couldn’t get enough! As BOSSIP previously reported, P-Valley‘s final season will air after a years-long hiatus to go out with a bang! The Chucalissa shenanigans will continue with Brandee Evans as Mercedes, Harriett D. Foy as Mayor Woodbine, Dan J. Johnson as Corbin, Psalms Salazar as Whisper, Morocco Omari as Big L, Dominic DeVore as Duffy, Jordan M. Cox as Derrick, Thomas Q. Jones as Mane, Bertram Williams Jr. as Woddy, Mea Wilkerson as Haiku, and Loretta Devine as Ernestine.

While fans waited on the edge of our seats for the showdown between Uncle Clifford’s crew and Promised Land Casino, the beloved cast stayed booked and busy. Just like their Pynk Posse characters, these talented actors, writers, directors, producers, and dancers are much more than meets the eye. We have a list of where these familiar faces were seen on the scene, from Reasonable Doubt to Lanterns.

Hit the flip to catch up with the P-Valley cast when they pop out the grills and hang up the heels.

J. Alphonse Nicholson – Lil’ Murda

If P-Valley was your first time seeing J. Alphonse Nicholson, it certainly wasn’t the last. The Broadway alum’s complex and compelling portrayal of Lil’ Murda, the rapper on the rise from the trenches put fans on notice. Meanwhile, the double life he’s living could risk it all.

In 2025, J. Alphonse starred in and directed Freight: The Five Incarnations of Abel Green. The one-man show is an adaptation of his off-Broadway debut abou “five versions of an everyman who travels through time in different incarnations, including a 19th-century minstrel, a faith healer, and an FBI informant.”

Nicholson made waves on the must-see series Lanterns as John Stewart Sr., a veteran so haunted by his lost opportunity that he puts his son’s life on the line to reclaim a second chance.

In 2026, Nicholson brought his star power to the independent film If I Go, Will They Miss Me. He stars with Danielle Brooks as Big Ant, a father finding his way back to the man family needs him to be after losing himself in prison. The love letter to Compton takes fantastic twists and turns as we him through the eyes of his 12-year-old son, Lil Ant.

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard a hit from Lil’ Murda, but he’s been back in the booth with “Homegrown” for season 3.

Shannon Thornton – Miss Mississippi

Shannon Thornton danced her way into our hearts as Mississippi, the rising star who turns into a breakout InstaBaddie while struggling with motherhood and an abusive relationship. When the model wasn’t going viral for her reactions memes and sizzling snaps, she stayed booked and busy as the lead actress in Future’s “Love You Better” video.

The Dynasty alum went on to act in inventing Anna and Tyler Perry’s lusty legal drama, Mea Culpa.

The Connecticuit native went on to star as the title character in Finding Joy, where she chases her crush to Coloradeo. Instead of landing the man of her dreams, she falls for another after they’re snowed in together, leaving her in a love triangle.

“Joy is a dreamer, but she’s working under someone who takes advantage of her ideas and passes them on as his own. She also believes in the kind of love some people only read about, which makes her vulnerable but very relatable,” Thornton told Ebony.

It looks like Miss Crooked Letter’s path to fame led her right to the slammer based on this teaser Thornton shared. Say it ain’t so, Keyshawn!

Brandee Evans – Mercedes

Brandee Evans reigned Mercedes, the queen of the stage at the Pynk, and rightfully so! The star choreographer’s moves kept us mesmerized as she defied gravity on the pole with queen bee energy. She kept us on the edge of our seats for the journey from fighting to leave it all behind to fighting her way back onto the stage.

Just like Mercedes, Brandee has stayed booked, busy and blessed with roles on The Family Business, UnPrisoned, and The Fabulous Four.

Art imitated life for the advocate and entrepreneur in Color Book, a film about a father raising his son with Down’s Syndrome alone after his wife’s death. For more than a decade, Brandee has been the a caretaker for her mother dur to Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimers.

In 2025, Brandee opened up to Essence about the balance of providing the best care for her mother while her career was blowing up. She revealed that her most rewarding and demanding role is at home, where she puts on a brave face to comfort a mother who started to not recognize her in person.

“We beat ourselves up a lot. Right now, I’m thinking I could do more. I ran out of the house [today] like, ‘I haven’t even really seen mama today.’ But I am running out of the door so I can care for her,” she admitted. “I don’t know what my career is without my mother, because it blew up while I had my mother, which is crazy to me. I want to do it all, and I want my mother right there with me along the way. I don’t know what life would be like without her.”

Most recently, Brandee had us on the edge of our seats during season three of the thrilling, twisty legal drama Reasonable Doubt. Monica, the devoted and devious long-time manager child star-turned-action star in the middle of a murder trial, may have more drama in store for season four. We’ll have to tune in to the premiere on Oct. 6 to find out!

Tyler Lepley – Diamond

From his first scene in the Pynk, Tyler Lepley sparked instant heart eye hysteria and quickly became a household name. The former football star-turned-heartthrob kept the Pynk protected as Diamond, a veteran who needed his combat skills to regulate the ruckus. After longing to save Keyshawn, he went viral with the sizzling smithereens smashing of Big Bone, played by Miracle Watts. These two hotties had so much heat, the flame kept going after cameras stopped.

Tyler and Miracle welcomed their first P-Valley progeny, a baby boy named Xi Lei in 2022. The cute couple went viral again in 2026 with an over-the-top Cabo ceremony for their wedding and the cheating scandal shenanigans that followed.

While his personal life took off, Tyler was just as popping professionally. Lepley reignited “will they or won’t they?” woes as Meagan Good’s one that got away on Harlem. Playing chef Ian for three seasons on the hit show, he cooked up a few love triangles that put fans in a blender.

The Haves and Have Nots alum reunited with Tyler Perry as a leading man in 2025 for Duplicity as a private eye and former cop helping his attorney girlfriend (Kat Graham) through a twisty thriller of a murder case that hits close to home.

That same year, the alluring actor won an NAACP Image Award and sparked sanctified swooning as the biblical boo thang in Ruth & Boaz. The steamy scenes with Serayah had fans reaching for their church fans in a hurry!

With the Pynk reopening, we hope to catch Diamond at the door!

Elarica Johnson – Autumn Night

Autumn Night aka Hailey Colton aka LaKeisha Savage turned Chucalissa upside down when she pulled up to P-Valley with explosive secrets… “sounding all poetic and s**t!” Elarica’s Autumn used her brains, beauty and booty to run up a whole lot of skrilla no matter what her past, Uncle Clifford, or even a pandemic threw at her. The British baddie has been just as elusive as her character despite making a big splash on the hit series.

The Harry Potter alum made herself at home as the new girl on the pole, but stayed true to her fantasy and sci-fi roots in Blade Runner 2049, A Discovery of Witches, and Castlevania: Nocturne as a voice actress.

“So so proud to voice this brilliant character #droltatzuentes Not only does she have an amazing costume change for every scene, but the detail put into this black animated character is so special.
The love for #castlevanianocturne and all of its characters is quite amazing.

Im over the moon to be a part of the #castlevania world and get to work with creator & writer Clive Bradley, show runner & producer Kevin Kolde & Directors Sam and Adam Deets.
I thought I’d post some of the #Drolta love,” she wrote about the role of Drolta.

We look forward to seeing more of Elarica, whether she’s gangsta walking on the ceiling or sinking her teeth into another juicy vampire role.

Gail Bean – Roulette

When the Pynk was down and almost out, Gail Bean‘s Roulette was a fast thinking, fist-swinging, gum-popping phenomenon giving OGs like Mercedes a run for their money. The Stone Mountain stunner hustled her way into our hearts for season two and immediately applied pressure with her persistence and plotting.

Gail came to the show as a fan-favorite from Snowfall, with the harrowing journey from a new dealer’s girlfriend Wanda to the depths of addiction and back. She went on to star in American Dream: The 21 Savage Story, The Piano Lesson, and season 3 of Harlem.

In 2026, Gail reprised the role of Wanda as the lead of The Drop: A Snowfall Saga. The same charisma and brilliance that helped her survive the hardest parts of the streets are exactly what it takes for Wanda to plant her flag on the emerging rap game in ’90s Los Angeles. She has to walk a fine line between the cutthroat music industry, loyalty to her family, and navigating the gangs that rule the streets.

In a BOSSIP exclusive, Gail shared that her glow up to the lead of her own series felt as miraculous as her character’s comeback.

“It has not set in. Every day I’m like, wait, what?” Bean told BOSSIP. “When they first broke the news that I would be the number one, I said, I’m sorry, excuse me? Because even— it’s so crazy, even in 2026, when they told us back when we were shooting season six of Snowfall, in my mind I just thought, Oh okay, Leon and Wanda getting a spinoff. He gonna be number one, I’m gonna be number two. Which is crazy that even in the world today, that’s not the first thought of, like, that I could ever be the lead. That they would put a Black female as the lead.

Nicco Anan – Uncle Clifford

Last, but never ever least, Nicco Anan’s NAACP Image Award-winning portrayal of gender-bending baddie Uncle Clifford is one for the history books. The visionary vixen turned his grandmother’s juke joint into a one-of-a-kind shake joint and Chucalissa will never be the same.

Through foreclosure and Covid, the incomparable icon reigned over The Pynk with homegrown hospitality and sky high stiletto style to give his dancers a home and a chance to build lives for themselves. When Clifford least expected it, he went from the magical godfather in everyone else’s fairytale to a love story of his own.

The Detroit-born dancer became the choreographer in residence at Yale School of Drama after earning his college degree in theater. Nicco went from performing off-Broadway to acting in Los Angeles on shows like Claws, Shameless, This Is Us, and Snowfall. He also appeared in season two of Diarra from Detroit.

Before the long-awaited third season, Nicco created a docuseries that kept that same southern energy: Down in the Valley. He took us on the road across the South to feature barrier breaking singers, rappers, educators, and entreprenurs.

Now, it’s time to for Nicco to be the host with the most for one last time as our beloved Uncle Clifford, making and breaking all the rules one more time on P-Valley.

It’s about that time to run back seasons one and two before the last dance.
