Derek Hough had a slip-up on the season premiere of Dancing With the Stars when he called contestant Tyler Cameron by the wrong name.

Derek, 41, is one of the show’s former pro dancers and he became a full-time judge on the show during 2020’s season 29.

Tyler, 33, is best known for being part of Bachelor Nation, specifically being the runner-up on Hannah Brown‘s season of The Bachelorette back in 2019. We have all the details on his dating history and current relationship status if you’re curious to know more!

During the season premiere on Tuesday (September 15), Tyler performed a tango with his pro partner Sharna Burgess, set to the song “Are You Gonna Go My Way” by Lenny Kravitz.

When it was Derek‘s turn to share his thoughts on the performance, he said, “Dylan, you have this Patrick Swayze aura about you.”

Um, who is Dylan? He’s probably thinking of the equally-hunky Dylan Efron, who competed on the show last year.

Derek told him, “You’re cool, masculine, just effortless. For me, the frame, aw mate, we got to expand it. Marrying your presence with the technique, the frame, the posture, you’re going to be fantastic.”

Tyler earned a final score of 17 out of 30 for his dance.
