Tia Kemp Defends Ex Rick Ross After Physical Assault Claims

Rick Ross’ ex, Tia Kemp, has spoken out after the rapper’s most recent girlfriend, Jazzma Kendrick, accused him of physically assaulting her.

Kendrick recently shared a series of social media posts detailing the alleged incident, including photos showing an injury to her lip. She claimed that Ross had treated her like a “punching bag” and said the alleged assault ultimately led her to leave the relationship.

Kemp, who shares a son with Ross, responded to the allegations with a message encouraging women to leave situations when they no longer feel safe and to maintain their own financial independence.

Jazzma Kendrick Details Alleged Assault

Kendrick shared her allegations on Instagram Stories Saturday, Sept. 26. In one post, a fan complimented her appearance and wrote, “I’m seeing what Rick is seeing your so gorgeous.”

Kendrick reposted the message and added, “He saw a punching bag.”

She followed up with a close-up photo of her lip and cheek, writing, “The day Rick busted my lip and the day I left.”

In another selfie, Kendrick pulled up her top lip to show a dark bruise and bump. She wrote, “I don’t know a lot of things, but I do know that a man put his hands on me, is a man that never loved me and never will.”

Kendrick also shared a message encouraging other women to take allegations of physical abuse seriously.

“It’s always good until it isn’t. If a man hits you one time, he will do it again. Don’t give him the opportunity. Value your life and leave,” she wrote.

Tia Kemp Responds

After The Shade Room shared Kendrick’s allegations, Kemp left a comment reflecting on her own experience of leaving a relationship and encouraged women not to remain in a situation simply because of a lavish lifestyle.

Kemp and Ross share 21-year-old son Williams Robert III. The former couple dated from 2003 to 2007.

“Ladies when that man say go home…lawdddd…That ride home with garbage bags of your clothes n that backseat hurts trust me…it hurts! That’s all. They want to b n the mansion 4ever…..go home baby….and keep a job,” Kemp wrote.

Kemp later addressed the situation during a live video, where she continued to encourage women to leave when it is time to go. She also questioned Kendrick’s account of the alleged assault and suggested that security footage from Ross’ home could potentially shed light on what happened.

 “You punched your fing self! He ain’t whooped this a since… 2006. He don’t touch a* no more.”

Kemp further suggested that Kendrick should not expect to receive money from Ross’ estate, while making several disparaging comments about her.

“I told your fat a** stop playing with these prostituting, ex-prostitutes, tricking **s…didn’t I Willy? Didn’t I? Girl, if you think you finna get any of that estate. B**ch we gon settle out with you for some Wingstop wings or something. We ain’t got no money for you girl,” Kemp said.
