Tom Brady‘s social media posts have gone viral over the years for a variety of reasons, but now, there’s attention being paid to something he posted in 2025.
Lars Anderson has a new book coming out titled, “Brady: An American Story and the Price of Greatness,” and in it, he made an assertion about the time period after his ex wife Gisele Bundchen gave birth to her newest child.
If you don’t recall, Gisele welcomed her third child, her first with boyfriend Joaquim Valente, in 2025. She also shares son Benjamin and daughter Vivian with Tom.
After Gisele Bundchen gave birth, Tom Brady’s post was viewed as a “middle finger”
“Just over a month after the birth, Brady shared a photo of himself on Instagram — his preferred form of mass (and often cryptic) communication,” Lars wrote in his new book (via People). “In the color photograph, Brady’s right arm is extended and a ball has spiraled out of his hand, silhouetted by the sunset’s golden glow. Underneath, Brady wrote: ‘True Love’ — the verbatim phrase Gisele had repeatedly used to describe Brady’s relationship with football.”
“As one friend described it, that was ‘the softest middle finger,'” the book continued.
While the post in question was an Instagram Story that has now been deleted, a fan site captured it at the time and you can see on Instagram. If you don’t know, an insider previously revealed why they broke up.
