The cast of the new Paranormal Activity movie just got bigger!

Tell Me Lies star Sonia Mena and Girls Like Girls star Maya Da Costa have been announced to join the cast this week, according to Deadline.

The ladies join previously announced Chase Yi, who was cast in a leading role earlier this week.

Character details and the plot for the upcoming ninth installment in the franchise have not been released.

Undertone‘s Ian Tuason is set to direct, with Blumhouse Atomic Monster and Paramount producing in a joint venture.

The original Paranormal Activity film was released in 2009 as a “minimalist found-footage flick following a young couple who set up cameras in their home to capture a supernatural presence haunting them at night.”

Oren Peli wrote, directed, produced, edited and shot the first movie, and he will serve as a producer on the next installment.

The movie is currently slated to released on May 21, 2027.

Sonia is best known for her recent starring role in Hulu’s Tell Me Lies, and she’s also appeared in Invasion, Search Party, Alternatino, Mrs. Fletcher, Half Empty and Love, Victor.

Maya can currently be seen in the Hayley Kiyoko-directed film Girls Like Girls, which is now in theaters. Previously, Maya starred in the miniseries Under the Bridge, and she’ll next be seen in The Social Reckoning and Descendants: Wicked Wonderland.
