Tate McRae Announces New Single ‘Housewife,’ Reveals Release Date & Cover Art

Tate McRae is getting ready to release new music!

The 23-year-old singer announced her new single “Housewife” on Wednesday (October 7), revealing that the song will arrive on October 15.

“Housewife. Out 10.15,” Tate simply wrote on Instagram alongside the single artwork.

The cover shows Tate wearing a red bikini and sunglasses while posing next to a stroller filled with stacks of cash.

Not much else has been revealed about the song yet, but “Housewife” appears to mark the start of a new chapter for Tate following her So Close to What era.

Her third studio album So Close to What debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2025, becoming her first album to top the chart.

The album included songs like “Sports Car,” while her Morgan Wallen collaboration “What I Want” later became her first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100.

Fans won’t have to wait long to see Tate perform again either: just three days after “Housewife” arrives, she is set to take the stage at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on October 18.
