The San Antonio Spurs fan who rushed the court to try and get a photo with Victor Wembanyama is facing criminal charges.
The juvenile, whose name is not being made public due to his age, was arrested on two charges in connection to the incident on Wednesday night (June 3) during Game 1 of the Finals at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas.
He is charged first with Disrupting Meeting or Procession, by “intentionally disrupting a lawful gathering, namely, the Spurs basketball game, through physical interference, ” according to police, per TMZ.

The other charge is Criminal Trespass, committed by “entering property, specifically the basketball court, without the effective consent of the owner, despite having notice that entry onto the court was prohibited.”
“The entry was made by the intrusion of his entire body into the restricted area,” the police went on to say in their statement.

The viral moment, which has been shared from his point of view on social media, caused the referees to delay the game briefly as they decided how to continue after the incident.
Donald Trump is apparently planning to attend a New York Knicks NBA finals game next week.
