NBC has announced the first four weeks of episodes for Saturday Night Live‘s upcoming 52nd season!
The show will return on Saturday, September 26 with NBA player Jalen Brunson making his debut as an SNL host, just months after winning the NBA Championship with the New York Knicks.
With SNL happening live from New York City, having the NBA’s MVP hosting the show seems like a great way to celebrate the city’s victory. The New York Knicks won the championship for the first time in 53 years!
Sept. 26 – Jalen Brunson / KATSEYE
Jalen will be hosting the show on September 26, making his hosting debut.
KATSEYE will be the musical guest for the season premiere, marking their debut as a musical guest.
Oct. 3 – Dakota Johnson / Turnstile
Dakota Johnson will host SNL for the third time on October 3. This is the same weekend as her movie Verity hitting theaters.
The musical guest for this episode will be hardcore rock band Turnstile, making their SNL debut.
Oct. 10 – Shane Gillis / Rosalía
Shane Gillis will return as an SNL host for the third time on the October 10 episode.
Rosalia will be the musical guest for this episode, marking her second appearance on the show.
Oct. 31 – Inde Navarrette / Gracie Abrams
There will be several weeks off for SNL in October ahead of the special Halloween episode hosted by Obsession‘s Inde Navarrette in her SNL debut.
Gracie Abrams will be appearing as the musical guest, marking her second appearance on the show.
It was just announced that a famous writer is leaving SNL after five seasons.
