New details are coming out following the sudden death of Robert Kelker-Kelly.

If you didn’t see the news, it was announced on Monday (October 5) that the Days of Our Lives actor passed away over the weekend at the age of 62.

TMZ is sharing a new update on Robert‘s passing, revealing that he was recently complaining of chest pain.

The St. Peters Police Department told the outlet that officers responded to Robert‘s house in Missouri on Saturday night (October 3) around 8:16pm for a report of an unconscious man who was not breathing.

CPR was already in progress and EMS were en-route to the former soap opera star’s house. Officers and paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but they were unsuccessful.

Law enforcement told TMZ that there was nothing suspicious at the scene in Robert‘s house, and the circumstances appeared consistent with a medical event.

Robert began his acting career on Another World back in 1987 playing Sam Fowler. He joined Days of Our Lives in 1992 as Bo Brady, taking over the role from Peter Reckell. He played the character for three years before Peter returned in 1995.

He later appeared on General Hospital as Stavros Cassadine. Outside of acting, Robert was also a professional pilot.
