Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander aren’t spotted together too often, but every now and then they appear alongside each other to support their projects!
The longtime married couple made a rare appearance together at Alicia‘s premiere of The Echo Chamber during the 2026 Venice Film Festival on Sunday (September 6) in Venice, Italy.
Michael, 49, and Alicia, 37, looked incredible as they posed for photos on the red carpet.

Alicia is wearing Louis Vuitton. She’s dressed in a two-piece look featuring a pastel green silk bustier paired with a frilled skirt and a draped maxi bow detail and a pair of matching sandals.
Michael is wearing Berluti. He’s dressed in a black tone-on-tone striped wool double-breasted tuxedo, a white classic collar cotton shirt, a black silk satin bow tie, and a pair of black patent leather Alessandro Demesure shoes.
When did Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander start dating?
For those who don’t know, the couple met in 2014 while working together on the movie The Light Between Oceans.
Alicia and Michael got married back in October of 2017 and you can see photos from their rumored wedding weekend right here. They are a notoriously private couple, confirming they welcomed their second child sometime a few years ago.
Last year, Alicia made a rare comment about life with Michael and their kids.
The couple promoted their new movie together at the Cannes Film Festival back in May.
