Margaret Qualley Spotted Filming ‘Possession’ Remake Amid Split From Husband Jack Antonoff

Margaret Qualley is back to work and is making her first appearance in public following news of her breakup from husband Jack Antonoff.

The 31-year-old actress was spotted on the set of her upcoming Possession movie remake on Wednesday (July 22) in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Margaret looked distressed while running out of a building and running down the sidewalk.

Margaret is starring opposite Callum Turner and Paul Dano in the upcoming remake of Possession, which will be directed by Smile franchise creator Parker Finn.

Parker is directing the movie from a script that he’s writing and he has Robert Pattinson on board as a producer.

Deadline notes that the original movie “follows a woman who begins exhibiting increasingly disturbing behavior after asking her husband for a divorce. Suspicions of infidelity soon give way to something much more sinister.”

Possession was first released in theaters back in 1981 starring Isabelle Adjani and Sam Neill.

It was confirmed earlier this month that Margaret and her husband Jack Antonoff have separated after three years of marriage.

Following rumors of “trust issues” and “infidelity,” Margaret‘s team spoke out to deny the narrative that is spreading.

“The narratives running in the press about Margaret and Jack are categorically untrue. There are no trust issues. There was no infidelity or anything outside of respect and partnership in this relationship,” the rep said in a statement to JustJared.com.

The statement continued, “They have deep love and care for one another. There are only two people in this marriage, and the sources who are talking to the press and commenting on their relationship are not people who know them. Please respect their privacy.”

Margaret and Jack first started dating in 2021 and announced their engagement the following year. They wed on Long Beach Island, NJ in 2023 and we have wedding photos here.
