Kylie is set to star in the upcoming show Bachelorette Weekend, which her sister Kim Kardashian is executive producing. The show is created by author Lauren Oliver, best known for writing young adult books like “Panic,” “Before I Fall,” and the “Delirium” trilogy.

Bachelorette Weekend is based on an upcoming novel by Flora Collins, which hasn’t yet been published. The book was developed by Lauren Oliver‘s company StoryGiants and she’s writing the TV adaptation, according to Deadline.

In the series, a bachelorette weekend turns deadly when the bride (Jenner) winds up murdered in the pool, and her closest girlfriends all become suspects. Jenner’s role is described as the North Star of the series, which pieces together the events that led to the murder.

Kim is the one who thought of Kylie for the starring role!

Kim picked Kylie to star in the series

Deadline reports that the script for the series was sent to Kim as a potential project for her to produce and she “felt it was a great starring vehicle for Jenner and passed it onto her with both quickly coming on board.”

Kim has a first look deal with 20th Television, which is under the same parent company as Hulu.

Bachelorette Weekend is getting a straight-to-series order from the streamer.

Kylie previously played versions of herself in the movies The Moment and Ocean’s Eight. This marks her first time tackling a character.

Kylie recently addressed backlash to being a “self-made” billionaire.
