Kimberly Van Der Beek is remembering her late husband, James Van Der Beek.

The 44-year-old widow of the Dawson’s Creek alum, who sadly died at the age of 48 following a cancer battle earlier this year, paid tribute to James in an emotional post on Father’s Day Sunday (June 21) on her Instagram.

Missing you so much and thinking of how magnificent you were in every single way today. And somehow, from the other side? You continue to parent. You’re a marvel. @vanderjames

The post included heartwarming shots of James with his children over the years. He left behind six kids: daughters Olivia, Annabel, Emilia and Gwendolyn, and sons Joshua and Jeremiah.

A GoFundMe was set up after his death to help the family with medical expenses and bills, and there were some major, notable celebrity donations.

James‘ rep just recently released a statement speaking to reports about money.

“James secured down payment for the Texas ranch for the family with the help of friends through a trust so they could shift from rent to mortgage,” a representative told People.

James and his family moved to the ranch in 2020. The GoFundMe is currently at $2.8 million.
