Godzilla vs. Kong co-star Kaylee Hottle passed away on Tuesday (July 21) in Maryland, and her cause of death has been confirmed.

If you did not see the tragic news, the 18-year-old young deaf actress was in a car accident on Tuesday (July 21). Her father confirmed that she passed away en route to the hospital.

The Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed to TMZ that Kaylee had “multiple blunt force injuries” that caused her death, and it has been ruled an accident at this time.

After this news broke, more information about the car accident was disclosed, including the rumored cause.

You may recognize the young deaf star from the 2021 film Godzilla vs. Kong, and the movie’s 2024 sequel, Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire. She played the role of Jia in those films, and she famously used sign language to communicate with Kong in the movies.
