Gizelle Bryant Confronts Lisa Barlow Over Blog-Leaking Allegations

On the Sept. 13 episode, Gizelle confronted Lisa over claims that she has been leaking information about her fellow cast members to the blogs. While Gizelle made it clear she wasn’t necessarily saying the rumors were true, she had a warning for Lisa: “You need to stop!”

The accusation didn’t exactly land softly. Lisa immediately pushed back, strongly denying that she fed information about the cast to blogs or was in cahoots with the media to spread rumors. And she wasn’t shy about making her position crystal clear.

“I don’t. Why would I do that?” Lisa shot back.”There’s nothing that comes from me on my show. On God, strike me dead right now, if I do.”

The drama goes back to Episode 6, when Gizelle had already confronted Lisa over her refusal to take accountability for the group’s late departure in Atlanta. Then, just when it seemed like that disagreement might be behind them, the blog-leaking accusations resurfaced as the group was eating lunch. 

Gizelle claimed that some of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6 cast had previously claimed they had proof that Lisa was “the source of all the dirt” that had made its way into the press about them over the years. Lisa denied those claims, but Heather Gay and Angie Katsanevas stood by their accusations while discussing the situation with Gizelle Bryant during the Atlanta portion of RHUGT: Roaring 20th.

Making sure Lisa understood that she was addressing the possibility rather than declaring the rumor as fact, she added:

“If anything is coming out about this group, I’m only gonna have to look at you.”

Lisa made it crystal clear that if she did in fact have “something to say,” she would “say it with this mouth or these hands.”

When Gizelle asked Lisa to explain what she meant by “hands,” Lisa made it even clearer that she would rather speak for herself than secretly pass information along.

“I’ll tweet it, I’ll message it myself. I don’t hide behind things. I don’t live my life in the dark. I live my life in the light. I’m not worried.”

Lisa also addressed the confrontation during her confessional, pointing out just how quickly things seemed to change between her and Gizelle Bryant, who she thought she had been getting along with since the start of the trip.

“Gizelle and I started this trip having the time of our lives. Like, we hit it off so easily. We could talk about anything. I don’t know how you go from that to being like, ‘You’re a leaker to the blogs.’ Like, because I was late getting on a van, like, all of a sudden, my character is s–t? Make this make sense.”

But Lisa wasn’t the only Housewife wondering whether there was any truth behind the allegations. Kyle Richards wanted to know if the information supposedly making its way to the press was actually accurate.

“Or is it just lies?” Kyle asked during the cast lunch. “Just because people say something, doesn’t make it true.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG later offered a more cautious take in a producer interview. 

“I’ve never heard this rumor, but that is a big no-no. I mean, you do not do that. So, if that is true, I don’t blame Gizelle for calling her out. But if it’s not true, that’s a pretty harsh accusation.”

Lisa’s RHUGT bestie Teresa Giudice also appeared to have Lisa’s back. In a separate confessional, Teresa said, “I mean, I don’t think Lisa has any reason to do that. I don’t think she would ever do that.”

For now, the blog-leaking mystery remains unresolved, so viewers will have to tune in to see whether the feud between Lisa Barlow and Gizelle Bryant gets any messier. The next episode of RHUGT: Roaring 20th is set to air Sept. 20 at 9:00 PM ET on Bravo. Will you be watching?
