Giuliana Rancic and Jerry O’Connell‘s 2004 breakup has been making headlines for the past couple weeks amid their comments about their former relationship.

Jerry spoke about their breakup in an interview last week and then Giuliana called him out for having a “fuzzy” memory. She released a podcast in which she detailed the “humiliating” way he broke up with her.

Now, Giuliana has released a second part to her podcast, talking about running into Jerry years after their breakup and what he said to her.

“I think people have wondered, have we seen each other through the years? I saw people had asked that on Instagram and, funny enough, only one time,” she said on the Bill and Giuliana podcast, released on Thursday (July 30).

Giuliana ran into Jerry while hosting the red carpet show for a major awards show, either the Golden Globes or Emmys, shortly after marrying Bill Rancic in 2007.

She explained, “I’m in the middle of doing what’s called a hot switch, when you go from one celebrity to the next, and then all of a sudden, I had like a one-minute break, and out of nowhere I feel someone tap my back, and I turn around and it’s Jerry.”

“He was like, ‘Hey. I just wanted to say you’re doing great. You look great. And have a great show tonight.’ And I was like, ‘Uh huh.’ But I was still harboring feelings,” Giuliana said.

“I was very focused. I was a little bit like, ‘No, don’t even,’” she added. “‘I still remembered what he did, and even still to today, 22 years later, how he handled it was not right.”
