Dakota Johnson is dishing on working with close friend Taylor Swift!
On Thursday (September 24), the 36-year-old Grammy-winning singer revealed that the 36-year-old Verity actress will be starring in the new music video for her upcoming single “Patient Zero.”
In a new interview with Fan Girl Nation, Dakota explained how she and Taylor ended up working together on the video.
“Taylor and I have been friends for a really long time, and we’re very close,” Dakota shared, “and we decided to work together, and it’s great.”
She added, “Normally, I would say don’t work with your friends, but we work really well together.”
Dakota was one of the many A-list stars that attended Taylor and Travis Kelce‘s Fourth of July weekend wedding at Madison Square Garden. In recent weeks, Dakota has been sparking dating rumors with a musician she met at the wedding.
Taylor will be releasing the “Patient Zero” music video, which also stars Colin Farrell, during the 2026 MTV VMAs on Sunday, September 27. Fans have already discovered a ton of Easter eggs in the video’s teaser!
