Christina Applegate Shares First Video Since 4-Month Hospitalization, Debuts New Hair

Christina Applegate has shared her first video since her months-long stay in the hospital.

The 54-year-old Dead to Me star updated her Instagram on Monday (September 18) to show off her new hair color.

“Fresh hair color, new weird spot on my cheek haha thank you @davestanwell for brightening up my cloudy day. Love you and love to you all out there,” she captioned the post.

The clip showed her smiling as she stood with her hands in her jeans pockets while wearing a loose black hoodie that slid off one of her shoulders.

Stars like Octavia Spencer, Chelsea Handler, and Andy Cohen all commented their praise on the post.

News of Christina‘s hospitalization broke in March and she shared a few updates on Instagram throughout her time in the hospital. She was reportedly discharged in August and a source told TMZ at the time that she was home and doing well.

She was allegedly hospitalized in late March amid her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis (MS). Reports of her hospital stay also came several weeks after she and her MeSsy podcast co-host Jamie-Lynn Sigler announced their show would be going on a brief hiatus.

Last year, Christina shared the role she would love to play if she “could work again.”
