Charlie Hunnam & ‘Sons of Anarchy’ Cast to Reunite For New Series ‘Legends,’ Details Revealed!

The Sons of Anarchy gang is reuniting for a new series!

It was just announced that Charlie Hunnam and several of his co-stars will be sharing the screen together once again, in the FX limited series Legends, which is being developed and executive produced by the 46-year-old actor, according to Deadline.

What is Legends about?

The upcoming limited series is described as a “meta-thriller” and follows the cast of Sons of Anarchy playing themselves as they reunite “at a fan convention after more than a decade, the line between life and art blurs as the fractured brotherhood finds itself up against a real-world threat more dangerous than anything they ever faced in their show.”

Who all is joining Charlie in the series?

In addition to Charlie Hunnam, Sons of Anarchy stars Ron Perlman, Katey Sagal, Maggie Siff, Mark Boone Junior, Tommy Flanagan, Kim Coates, and Theo Rossi are all set to join the new series.

According to Deadline, Charlie has been developing the new show for the past three years. Black-ish producer Jonathan Groff (not the actor!) is also developing and executive producing alongside the actor.

“When Charlie brought us this inspired idea, we instantly sparked to his bold and entertaining vision,” Nick Grad, FX Entertainment President, shared in a statement. “Charlie’s talents are on full display as a writer, performer and executive producer, leading the real-life brotherhood on an adventure that is both a love letter to the series and a fun meta twist on what fans think they know.”

Rob Mac is also producing, and Legends will be available to watch on FX and Hulu.

Charlie is also set to star in the upcoming next installment of the Monster anthology series, Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story, following his Emmy-nominated starring turn in the last installment, Monster: The Ed Gein Story.
