Cardi B was spotted once again with soccer player Maduka Okoye, which comes a few months after they first sparked romance rumors.
The Nigerian goalkeeper was seen in a Milan club with Cardi B on Tuesday, September 22, despite being invited for Nigeria’s AFCON 2027 qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau. The Super Eagles star did not report to camp, making his chances of starting appear slim.
But, apparently, he had different priorities. His Serie A club, Udinese Calcio, confirmed that Okoye was one of their representatives at Milan Fashion Week, where he modeled their new third kit.
Videos from the evening also show him getting close to Cardi, smiling with all 32 of his teeth as he leaned down to talk to the rapper.
Just last month, Cardi was asked about her experience at Paris Couture Week in July during an interview with Vogue Arabia. It was there that she was first spotted spending time with the 27-year-old Nigerian footballer.
“He was really sweet. When you see him on social media, he looks very strict, stern, but he is very kind,” Cardi said in August.
When journalist Manuel Arnaut asked if fans will see “more” of him in the future, Cardi answered with a giggle, “I hope so.”
Cardi and Okoye made headlines when they were seen getting cozy at the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture show for Paris Fashion Week in late July. According to TMZ, Okoye was photographed taking the rapper’s hand to bring her to her seat. Later that month, they were spotted having dinner together in Venice, Italy.
While Cardi didn’t directly address these relationship rumors, she did complain on Instagram about the amount of press she was receiving after being seen with someone only once.
“I’m really hip-hop’s Britney Spears,” she said in an Instagram Story at the time. “You know I got all the tea on these celebrities, I know who’s f***ing who and what’s doing what. But guess what? Nobody reports about it. You wanna know why? Because nobody gives a f**k.”
“But when it comes to me, the Brim, I can’t even piss in a motherf***ing cup, b***h,” she continued. “You gotta take the good with the bad—it is what it is. People pay for this type of talk. Bringing the motherf***ing drama.”
Now that the pair were spotted together, once again, that drama is only going to get more intense.
