Brittany Snow Joins the Cast of 'The Housemaid's Secret' Alongside Sydney Sweeney | Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Brittany Snow is joining The Housemaid’s Secret, the sequel to the hit 2025 film The Housemaid.

The 40-year-old Hunting Wives actress is boarding the cast of the movie that will see Sydney Sweeney and Michele Morrone returning to reprise their roles from the original film, as well as previously announced new cast additions Kirsten Dunst and Paul Anthony Kelly.

Brittany will play the role of a character named Marybeth, according to a Lionsgate press release.

Paul Feig will also return to direct the sequel.

It’s hard to find an employer who doesn’t ask too many questions about my past. So I thank my lucky stars that the Garricks miraculously give me a job, cleaning their stunning penthouse with views across the city and preparing fancy meals in their shiny kitchen. I can work here for a while, stay quiet until I get what I want. It’s almost perfect. But I still haven’t met Mrs Garrick, or seen inside the guest bedroom. I’m sure I hear her crying. In The Housemaid’s Secret, Millie returns, taking a job keeping house for a woman she’s never allowed to see, only to discover the truth behind the locked door that threatens to expose secrets far darker than her own.

The movie is set to go into production later in 2026 and be released on December 17, 2027.

The first movie brought in over $400 million at the box office on a budget of about $35 million. It’s also becoming a stage play!
