Bradley Cooper has booked his next movie role!

On Thursday (October 1), Deadline announced that the 51-year-old Oscar-nominated actor will be starring in the new G.I. Joe movie directed by Danny McBride.

Bradley will be playing Duke, the leader the military unit, in the new Paramount Pictures movie based on the Hasbro toy line.

Duke, whose real name is Conrad Hauser, is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and the field leader of the military team. Channing Tatum played the character in two live-action films: 2009’s G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and 2013’s G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

The new movie starring Bradley is a new reimagining of the story.

Along with directing the project, Danny is also writing the screenplay with Jeff Fradley and John Carcieri. As of right now, plot details are being kept under wraps.

Paramount also confirmed that the new G.I. Joe has been uncoupled from the Transformers franchise, a crossover that was teased at the end of 2023’s Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

Bradley is currently busy filming the new Ocean’s 11 prequel movie in France with Margot Robbie. A few weeks ago, they were spotted filming beach scenes!
