Haylie and Matt first started dating in 2012 and announced their engagement in April 2014. Not long after getting engaged, the pair started building their family by first welcoming daughter Ryan Ava in 2015 followed by daughter Lulu Gray in 2018.
“We didn’t plan to not get married, we just have been busy having kids and filming shows and him working. Life kind of got away from us, to be perfectly honest,” she told Access Hollywood in 2021. “Now anytime I get dressed up in something nice, [daughter] Ryan is like, ‘Mommy, that’s so beautiful, are you gonna wear that to your wedding?’”
“We also kind of thought as soon as we were done having kids, we would do it, but here we are,” she added.
