Olivia Rodrigo is back with new music!

The Grammy-winning singer just dropped her new single “Drop Dead” from her upcoming third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So In Love. The music video was filmed at the Palace of Versailles in France.

About 30 minutes before the song was released, thousands of fans got an early listen when Olivia went live on TikTok and sang along to the studio recording.

The full album is expected to drop on June 12 and will feature 14 songs.

Olivia sings on the chorus, “One night I was bored in bed and stalked you on the internet / It’s feminine intuition / ‘Cause I always had a vision of us standing like this / All pressed up in the bathroom line / You’re looking like an angel on the walls of Versailles / The most alivе I’ve ever been / But kiss mе and I might drop dead.”

In an interview with British Vogue, Olivia discussed the inspiration for the song.

“I’m very stubborn and if I like someone, I’m like, ‘Yo, this is going to happen. This is rare! Let’s do it,’” Olivia said. “The person that the song is about is great.”

Fans likely believe that the song is about Olivia‘s ex-boyfriend Louis Partridge. She was just spotted with someone new this week.
