Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 is coming soon!

The highly anticipated second season of Netflix’s hit series will premiere on June 25, the streamer confirmed Tuesday (March 31).

Gordon Cormier (Aang), Kiawentiio (Katara), Ian Ousley (Sokka), Dallas Liu (Zuko), Elizabeth Yu (Azula) and Miyako (Toph) all star in the new season, as well as Momona Tamada and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, with Maria Zhang and Daniel Dae Kim.

Here’s a synopsis: “Avatar: The Last Airbender follows Aang, the young Avatar, as he learns to master the four elements (Water, Earth, Fire, Air) to restore balance to a world threatened by the terrifying Fire Nation. In S2, after a bittersweet victory saving the Northern Water Tribe from the invading Fire Nation, Avatar Aang, Katara and Sokka regroup and set off on a mission to convince the elusive Earth King to aid in their battle against fearsome Fire Lord Ozai.”

“Our goal for Season 1 was to introduce the audience to this group of characters that were kids in the middle of a war zone,” executive producer Jabbar Raisani said in an interview with Tudum. “And [in] Season 2, we take those kids and they grow. But growth is not a straight line. … They’re really trying to figure out who they are.”
