Amid the latest news about Tiger Woods, some are wondering why he doesn’t hire a driver.

If you didn’t see what happened, the 50-year-old golf pro was arrested on Friday afternoon (March 27) after a rollover car crash on Jupiter Island in Florida. He was charged with driving under the influence, aka a DUI, and property damage.

A source is now speaking to People and explaining more.

He apparently “doesn’t want anyone to watch over him or know what he is doing. And he thinks he is fine to drive.”

“He is not a social butterfly and prefers to hang around his home with his kids, or hitting balls, or playing video games. He despises public scrutiny,” the source alleged.

Tiger has two kids, a daughter named Sam, 18, and a son named Charlie, 17, with his ex-wife Elin Nordegren.

Back in February 2021, Tiger suffered multiple leg injuries after being involved in a single vehicle roll-over traffic collision in California. He required surgery on his leg and ankle. It was later revealed that Tiger was actually driving at 83 MPH in a 45 MPH zone at the time of the crash.
