How Can You Watch Insidious: Out of the Further at Home?

Insidious: Out of the Further is now available to rent or buy digitally through Apple TV, Prime Video, Fandango at Home and Sony Pictures Core, according to Sony Pictures.

On Prime Video, the movie is currently listed at $19.99 to rent and $24.99 to buy in UHD. Prices can vary depending on the platform.

It’s important to note that the movie is not yet available as part of a subscription streaming service in the United States. The October 6 release is for digital rental and purchase.

The movie stars Amelia Eve as Gemma, a young mother who discovers she has the ability to travel into The Further. Lin Shaye reprises her role as Elise Rainier. Brandon Perea also stars.

When Will Insidious: Out of the Further Be on Netflix?

While Sony has not announced an official Netflix release date for Insidious: Out of the Further, the movie is expected to eventually stream there in the United States.

Sony Pictures and Netflix have an agreement that gives Netflix the first subscription streaming window for Sony’s theatrical movies after their theatrical and home entertainment runs. The companies expanded that partnership earlier this year with a new global deal.

Based on Sony’s previous release patterns, What’s on Netflix currently projects that Insidious: Out of the Further could arrive on Netflix in the U.S. around December 19, 2026, which would be 120 days after its theatrical release. That date has not been officially announced by Netflix or Sony, so it could change.

The previous movie, Insidious: The Red Door, also eventually made its way to Netflix following its theatrical run.

Insidious: Out of the Further follows Gemma as she discovers that she can not only enter The Further, but can also bring the demons living there back into the real world. The movie was written and directed by Jacob Chase.

If you’re watching the movie for the first time, find out whether you need to stay for an end-credits scene.
