The couple visited Albuquerque’s balloon fiesta Sunday (October 4), according to pictures obtained by TMZ.

Their relationship first made headlines in April, when multiple outlets reported that the singer was dating the Nashville-based musician, who has experience both onstage and behind the scenes.

Thomas previously played baritone saxophone in the New Orlean band Stoop Kids, according to Us Weekly. The group announced an indefinite hiatus in 2023.

His work extends beyond performing, too, including live sound engineering, venue operations, and event production.

Music has also been essential to his connection with Jessica. In June, a source told Us Weekly that Thomas had joined her on tour periodically over the previous months and that working together had given them time to grow closer.

“He is a very low-key guy and Jessica likes that about him,” the insider said at the time.

The relationship followed Jessica‘s separation from Eric Johnson, which she announced in January 2025. They married in 2014 and share three children, Maxwell, Ace, and Birdie.
