'The Watcher' Finally Begins Production on Season 2, Four Years After Being Renewed: Returning Stars Revealed | Just Jared

The Netflix series The Watcher is finally returning for a second season.
After the show was renewed back in 2022, it has taken four years for the series to go back into production on new episodes, but Netflix has confirmed that filming is finally going to resume this fall in New York.
Season one followed the Brannock family who moved into what was supposed to be their suburban dream home, and quickly became a living hell. Ominous letters from someone calling themself “The Watcher” were just the beginning as the neighborhood’s sinister secrets came spilling out.
Four actors have been confirmed to return for season two, which is once again being produced by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan.

Naomi Watts – Returning!
Naomi Watts leads the series as Nora Brannock and she has been confirmed to return for season two. She is also an executive producer on the series.

Bobby Cannavale – Returning!
Bobby Cannavale is confirmed to be back as Dean Brannock for the second season of the series.

Margo Martindale – Returning!
Margo Martindale will reprise her role as neighbor Maureen in the second season of The Watcher.

Isabel Gravitt – Returning!
Isabel Gravitt will be back as the Brannock’s daughter Ellie.
After starring in season one of The Watcher, Isabel went on to play Jon Hamm‘s daughter in the Apple TV series Your Friends & Neighbors.
