How to Watch & When Songs Come to Streaming

Drake fans are about to get another way to experience music from his Fear of Missing Out, aka FOMO, project!

The 39-year-old rapper premiered his hour-long “not so short film” earlier this month, featuring a mix of new music, music videos, celebrity appearances and footage filmed around Toronto.

Now, some of the previously unreleased songs featured in FOMO are finally headed to traditional streaming services.

So, when does the FOMO music come out, and where can you watch Drake‘s full film? We’ve got everything you need to know.

When Does Drake’s FOMO Music Come Out?

Drake announced that a selection of songs featured in FOMO will arrive on streaming services on Thursday (October 1).

During a livestream earlier this week, he told fans that many of the songs they’ve been asking for are coming, while making clear that not every unreleased track from the film will be included.

An official tracklist for the October 1 release has not yet been revealed.

That means fans will have to wait and see exactly which of the songs Drake debuted during FOMO make the jump to streaming.

Is Drake’s FOMO an Album?

No, FOMO itself was introduced by Drake as a “not so short film,” rather than a new album.

The approximately hour-long project premiered on September 15 and combines music videos, new and unreleased songs, celebrity cameos and footage from around Drake‘s hometown of Toronto.

The film also served as the setting for Drake to tease his upcoming 2027 tour.

How Can You Watch Drake’s FOMO?

Drake originally premiered FOMO on YouTube on September 15.

The film was taken offline shortly after its initial premiere, but Drake later made the full project available again on YouTube.

The film includes music from Drake‘s recent releases as well as previously unreleased material.

The film also features additional unreleased music, including a collaboration involving OnlyHeaven.

Some of the songs featured in FOMO have already been released separately. “Quebec” received its own music video, while “Miss My Dawg” has since appeared on Yeat‘s Cocoon EP.

Drake has not yet confirmed the complete tracklist for the songs arriving on streaming October 1, so it’s not clear which of the remaining unreleased FOMO tracks will be included.

Is Drake’s “Choosin’ Texas” Remix Coming to Streaming?

That’s one of the biggest questions heading into the October 1 release.

Drake and Don‘s reworked version of Ella‘s “Choosin’ Texas” debuted in full during FOMO, but the remix has not yet received a traditional standalone release on services like Spotify and Apple Music.

Drake‘s new announcement confirms that some of the music from FOMO is coming to streaming, but he has not yet revealed whether “Choosin’ Texas” is among the songs being released.
