The opening day will also feature Runway For A Cause, an evening of fashion, art and philanthropy benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
On Oct. 1, A Ma Maniére will merge fashion and music with a special ATLFW edition of its Sound Check series.
On Oct. 2, The Vanguard Awards Presented by BMW will celebrate creatives shaping fashion and culture, with Patrick Kelly posthumously receiving the Vanguard Legacy Award.
Wish ATL’s Lauren Amos and Julie Hogg, Cathy Norwood, and multidisciplinary artist Alexander John will also be honored.
The weekend continues Oct. 3 with ATLFW: Intersections at Atlantic Station, where emerging designers will ditch the traditional runway for immersive model installations and up-close presentations.
Rémy Martin will keep the fashionable festivities flowing with The Art of Style Rooftop Soirée, while additional citywide events include the Atlanta Art Fair, Art After Dark and an immersive fragrance experience.
