Pete Davidson Reveals He's Sober Except for 4 Beers a Year, Reveals His Previous Drug of Choice | Just Jared

Pete Davidson is revealing how his sobriety is going, and sharing more information about the substances he abused in the past.

The 32-year-old actor and Saturday Night Live alum also spoke out about checking himself into rehab.

Pete Davidson is Sober Today, Apart From 4 Beers a Year

Pete said he does have maybe 4 beers per year.

“I don’t **** with drugs anymore. It’s been two or three years from doing really hard stuff and about a year or more from weed. Weirdly, the hardest thing to stop was weed. And now it’s easy because I have a kid. Anytime there’s ever a thought, I look at my phone background and go, ‘Oh yeah, no,’” he told Variety. About his daughter Scottie, he added, “Scottie is my whole life. I was living or dying on this business and what I thought people thought of me. It was all validation and ‘If I do this, then I’ll do that.’ But as soon as I saw her for the first time, I was like, ‘Oh my God, none of this ****’ matters at all. It’s a job. If I get to do cool stuff, great; if not, cool, I get to be home more with my kid.’”

He shared, “I was part of the problem of what I hated the most, which was the invasiveness around my personal life. I was just lobbing it up and continuing the narrative. When I turned 30 and I was there, it was a real low point. Nothing much was going on with my career and I was like, ‘This ******’ sucks. I can’t do it anymore.’ And it can’t be for anyone or for a job. You really have to want it, and when you’re done, you’re done.”

“It was K. I was getting liquid and cooking it. And I would do acid and shrooms and whippets and smoke weed all day and eat pills every day. It got scary because I didn’t feel high. I felt high when I wasn’t doing it, so I was like, this is a huge problem.”

“K” is seemingly referring to ketamine. The DEA says, “Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic that has some hallucinogenic effects. Ketamine distorts the perception of sight and sound and makes the user feel disconnected and not in control. It is referred to as a “dissociative anesthetic hallucinogen” because it makes patients feel detached from their pain and environment.”

Pete just revealed where he stands with exes Ariana Grande and Kim Kardashian.
