Chad Lowe & Kim Painter's Daughter Fiona Passes Away at 13 Years Old, Family Releases Statement | Just Jared

The Lowe family is mourning a tragic loss.

Actor Chad Lowe and wife Kim Painter‘s 13-year-old daughter, Fiona Hepler Lowe, has sadly passed away, the family shared in a statement on Tuesday (September 29).

“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” the family said, via People, remembering her as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance.”

“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents,” the family’s statement continued. “In fact, she was the light of our lives.”

Fiona is the middle child of Chad and Kim, who are also parents to daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.

Nearly one year ago, Chad shared the above photo on Instagram, celebrating Fiona‘s 13th birthday.

“Celebrating Fiona officially becoming a teen today!! Keep dancing through life FiBear! Love you soooo much!!” he wrote in the caption, along with several red heart emojis.

Much like his older brother Rob Lowe, Chad is also an actor, and most recently appeared in a recurring role as Rob‘s onscreen brother in 9-1-1: Lone Star.
